This was a fun gift to give my husband to do while we were on vacation. He loves crime, he's an ex police officer, so of course it was his language...lol. There are 7 different kinds of puzzles to solve. There are instructions in the beginning of the book for each type of puzzle. The directions for cryptogram and decoder ring were not really clear to me. I guess this book is good for those who have solved those types of puzzles before.
