Ravenscar Asylum is such a great setting for a murder mystery. It’s dark and atmospheric without being too gruesome, and the puzzles genuinely make you think. I loved working through the suspects and clues and trying to piece everything together before the reveal. It feels much more immersive than a standard puzzle book and kept me entertained for hours. Perfect for anyone who loves whodunits, logic puzzles and a slightly creepy mystery.
This puzzle book is so much fun! It's like clue but in book form. You have your suspects, divided between event staff and ticket holders. Guests are divided between a series of rooms, drinking one of four beverages, wearing one of four outfits, and carrying with them two of eight items. You have to use the clues to figure out who the culprit is. There are 24 puzzles to complete, each one with progressively more suspects and clues. From the book itself: October 31. Each day gets increasingly more difficult, with more culprits to sift through. Each day gives you a clue with a list of things about the culprit. Specifically, what the culprit is NOT doing, wearing, room occupied in. You must eliminate the suspects each day based on this information. I can't wait to see a Christmas version of this!!
This mystery puzzle book was so fun to read and solve! There are 24 different stories with hints pointing to "whodunnit," which the reader is meant to solve. I love a good mystery so I was committed to solving each scenario correctly, which I did! This was so easy to follow along and the plot itself was also pretty interesting. This would be a nice read for something casual and mindless or could even be used as a game night!
This is such an amazing puzzle book. It's the perfect blend of inquisitive and simple. The rules are very simple, which helps you keep coming back to it because it doesn't take too much mental stamina. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to see more like it.
