Amazing book, great mystery puzzles that are very fun to solve. Almost impossible to put this book down. The way that the mysteries and the clues are arranged for solving the puzzles are very simple and easy to follow. A very good book to pass the time and use your strategic mind, a great exercise for your brain. Will be a lot of fun and as the book progresses the difficulty increases a bit making this a more challenging game. What I like about this type of puzzle mystery book is that every puzzle is independent and has no relation to the others throughout the book, no need to keep up with the characters or the other mysteries in the book. A great way to develop your memory and problem solving skills. Lots of fun.
This is a really fun puzzle book with an interesting story connecting the puzzles together. The mystery comprises of several events happening over the course of 24 days (counting down to Christmas) where each day brings a different elimination puzzle. Each day brings more suspects and more clues, making the puzzles increasingly more difficult. The answers are all in the back, so no worries if you get stuck! Once you have solved all of the puzzles, there is a continuation of the storyline in the back explaining the 'why' behind each event. I recommend this if you are looking for a different way to count down to Christmas, or if you just enjoy elimination puzzles and have some extra time on your hands!
I'm a huge fan of logic puzzles, and I love that this one is different in that it gives you little pictures of the different items. It was certainly fun, but I thought it wasn't nearly as challenging as it could have been due to the location always being given. It makes all the other pages of suspects and their locations meaningless, in a sense. What I think the author should have done is maybe given a location where the suspect was not seen. That way, we can still narrow things down but not so much so quickly. All in all, this was fun, and I appreciate the variety. I just think it would be even more fun with a little more challenge to it.
I loved this. Personally would have preferred not knowing the location, as others have said, but this was still very fun. I think it's a good way to pass the time at appointments or during flights etc. I took this to doctor appointments and it passed the time very well.
